Video Play Tracking is now available for Business plan members. This new analytics feature automatically tracks:
- Play counts for every video in your stories
- Completion rates showing how many viewers watch to the end
- Progress milestones at 25%, 50%, and 75%
- All video types: cover videos, uploaded videos, YouTube, and Vimeo embeds
Privacy First
Section titled “Privacy First”Like all Exposure analytics, Video Play Tracking is completely privacy-focused:
- No cookies
- No personal data collected
- IPs are hashed immediately
- Only you can see your stats
Smart Video Labels
Section titled “Smart Video Labels”Videos in your stats are automatically labeled using captions, nearby headings, or position in your story. Even if you later remove a video, its play history is preserved so you never lose that data.
Cover Video Intelligence
Section titled “Cover Video Intelligence”Cover videos require 3 seconds of watch time before counting as a play. This ensures your stats reflect genuine engagement, not just page loads from autoplay.
