Exposure [Pro Plus or Business](<https://exposure.co/pricing>) subscribers can easily add videos to their stories just like adding photos.

## Uploading a Video

Start by clicking the “Video” button from the group options bar at the bottom of your screen. From there you will be presented with an “**Upload Video**” button.

Video files must meet the following requirements before upload:

- .MP4, .MOV, or .M4V file format

- No more than 300MB in size

Once uploaded, video files will be processed and optimized for desktop and mobile playback. Processing video takes around 10-60 seconds once uploaded but you can keep adding to your story while this is happening.

Processed videos are streamed at 1920px wide on desktop and 800px on mobile. Videos have a max display height of 1920px.

## Playback Options

Once processed, you have 2 simple playback options for your videos. You can find these controls along with width options in the top left of the video group.

- **Traditional ‘click to play’** - Like Youtube, etc.

- **Silent looping** - This will mute your video and loop it with no playback controls.

## Videos in Photo Grids

**Pro Plus and Business** subscribers can also add videos directly into photo grids, creating mixed-media layouts that combine photos and videos together.

### How It Works

1. Click the **Grid** button in the power bar

2. Drag and drop photos **and** videos into the grid

3. Videos will automatically play as silent loops when visitors scroll to them

### Grid Video Behavior

- Videos in grids always play as **muted loops** (no audio, no controls)

- Videos **auto-play** when they come into view and pause when scrolled away

- A maximum of **9 items** (photos + videos combined) per grid

- Videos use a gray loading background while processing

- Grid videos **cannot** be opened in lightbox - only photos can

### Accepted Formats for Grid Videos

- MP4, MOV, M4V

- Maximum 300MB file size

This feature is perfect for adding motion to your photo stories without interrupting the visual flow.

## Looping Cover Videos

Pro Plus and Business subscribers can also upload a looping video as their story cover. Cover videos must be MP4 format and under 50MB.

### Screen Reader Captions for Cover Videos

Cover videos include a **Screen Reader Caption** for accessibility. This caption is hidden from sighted visitors but announced by assistive technology like screen readers.

- **Pro Plus users** can type a caption manually in the Cover Design Options panel

- **Business users with AI enabled** get a caption generated automatically after uploading a cover video

You can edit or clear the AI-generated caption at any time. The caption is automatically removed when you replace or delete the cover video.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**How many videos can I upload to one story?** There is no limit to how many videos you can upload right now.

**What happens to videos in my stories if I downgrade my account to Pro or cancel entirely?** Videos in standalone video blocks will be removed from your story but will be put back if you choose to re-upgrade. For videos in grids, they will be hidden and the grid will display only photos.

**Can I add videos to grids on the Pro plan?** No, videos in grids are a Pro Plus and Business feature. Pro users can still use grids with photos only, and can add standalone video blocks.
