## Overview

[Pro Plus and above subscribers](<https://exposure.co/pricing>) can use their own domain name to display their Exposure site and stories seamlessly. There are two setups you can use:

-   **A root domain** — this includes **www**. For example: `https://www.yourdomain.com`
    
-   **A sub-domain** — any valid subdomain you choose. For example: `https://stories.yourdomain.com`
    

To get started, sign in and head to the [custom domain setup wizard](<https://exposure.co/custom-domains/wizard/start>).

## How It Works

You’ll still manage your account, publish, edit, and delete stories from Exposure.co, but visitors will only see your custom domain. Any `username.exposure.co` URL will automatically forward to your custom domain.

## SSL and Domain Security

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is automatically provided for all custom domains at no extra cost. When you connect your domain to Exposure, an SSL certificate is issued automatically by Google Trust Services via Cloudflare. There’s nothing you need to do — once your DNS is correctly configured, HTTPS just works.
